That I’m one paper and presentation and exam away from graduation. That is all… for now.
Morning friends… I type this one out as I walk to campus for mediation training- something I opted to do today and tomorrow. I find it funny, though. See, any day of the week that my alarm goes off at 6:18 AM and I’ll hit snooze a few times before finally dragging my ass out of bed around 7. Today? The title says it all…
Not much for today, seeing I had a paper that I submitted and I’m in the library right now, studying for a midterm. But, that’s what happens when school is a responsibility… Needless to say, the title of this post refers to my day. For all of my time on the UCF campus, I always walked by the Clip Joint hair salon. In dire need of a hair cut, I stopped in today. Not only was it a good cut–one of the better ones I’ve had–but it was reasonably priced, costing me $15 including tip.
Long tale short, stop along the way sometimes. You never know what you might always be passing by…
Morning… Earlier than I usually post, but this morning is different. See, I hitched a ride out to work with Sarah this morning so her father could teach me how to drive. Funny sounding, I know, but when you can’t drive a manual transmission and your wife’s car happens to be just that? Well, lets just say that I should learn. About darn time…
… the work is all done. Nope. When you get back, you have your DVR that you need to work on. All of that time worth of shows that you missed just so when the new episodes play this next week, you’re back on schedule for them. Never-ending cycle of television. All addicted by our own devices. And you’d think that eventually we’d figure this one out… You know, make a bigger hard drive in our DVR’s.
Well folks, its our last night up in Helen, GA. Needless to say, its been a fun trip that has spawned a good number of tales for me to tell when I’m behind a computer again after we return tomorrow. So… after our marathon drive from here through Atlanta, with a detour in Tallahassee before our final destination back home in Orlando? I’ll have to start writing. That is, if I can get that damn Danity Kane song out of my head first…
Hey friends… We have arrived up in Helen and just wanted to let you know that the weather is wonderful! Not even close to the humidity from Orlando… Back around soon…
